What We’re About
Jesus is Everything
He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending (Rev. 1:8). He is The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isa 9:6). He is a just God and Saviour (Isa 45:21). He is the Word and was made flesh and dwelt among us (Joh 1:1-14). He has all power in heaven and in earth (Mat 28:18). Jesus is everything. It’s really not about us and who we are. It’s all about him. We are striving by the power of his spirit (the Holy Ghost/Spirit) to be everything he wants us to be.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. (1Jn 2:6 KJV)
The Word of God
We desire what the Lord desires. His desires are taught through the word of God, the Bible. His word empowered by his spirit (the Holy Ghost/Spirit) tells us God’s desire for our life (Joh 14:26, Joh 16:13). The Bible teaches us everything we need to know. All of it is to be used, and all of it is necessary. We want to know what he is saying through his word. Not what has been taught by man or tradition of man (Col 2:8). Many have been misled by teachings of the Bible that are incorrect. We don’t have all the answers, but Jesus does. We simply want what is true and are asking for him to teach us.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2Ti 3:16 KJV)
The Time is Now
We were made for such a time as this (Est 4:14). We, as in all God’s sheep. Jesus said that his sheep know his voice and will follow him (Joh 10:27). He also said he would gather his sheep together into one fold (Joh 10:16). With the current events that are happening in this world, now more than ever we need to hear his voice and follow his leading. It’s time for the church to get back to what God intended it to be and not what man has made it. We need to be a strong Spirit-led church fighting for the Kingdom of God. Church was not meant to just be a social gathering, a concert, or just something nice to do. Ministers need to stop just saying what they think others want them to say, or only what the people want to hear (2Ti 4:3). It’s time to stop being afraid and do what is right (2Ti 1:7). The time is now for us to turn to God with all our hearts and be The Church of God he has called us to be.
Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: (Joe 2:12 KJV)
